Festival Markets

As well as providing essential food and refreshments to our festival patrons, market stalls add colour and a festive atmosphere to the overall festival experience.

Location and type of stalls

All stalls are located within the festival site at the Cobargo Showgrounds, adjacent to the major thoroughfare and venues. Both powered and unpowered sites are available. Stalls are located on sites determined by the Market Coordinator.

The Festival Committee strictly controls the number and type of stalls at the festival. We do not duplicate market and food choices. This particularly applies to food stalls. We already have BBQ, pizza, Turkish Gozlene, Asian spring rolls and noodles, hot potatoes, vegetarian dishes, pancakes, icecream & chocolates, as well as excellent coffee.

We are a little more flexible with the craft stalls. For example we may have more than one jewellery stall, or musical instruments stall, providing each stall is selling a different type of product within that category. The emphasis is on handmade, craft type items, or environmentally-friendly products and alternative services.

Even if you think that what you have to offer may be a duplicate of what we already have, it is worth registering your interest with our Market Coordinator as our regular stall-holder may not be able to come or we may have decided on a change of vendor in any particular year.
