Friday 1 - Sunday 3 March 2019

Camping and Accommodation

 On-site camping
The Festival has plenty of camping space in the beautiful rural setting of the Cobargo Showground, just five minutes from Cobargo Village.
Showers and toilets available. Handy to all venues and the street market.
Camping is only available to weekend ticket holders.  The fee for camping is $35.
Youth and children (under 18) may camp FREE but must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder.
PLEASE NOTE THAT NO HEAVY VEHICLE CAMPING WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE ARENA IN 2019. This includes RVs, motorhomes and caravans.
For insurance purposes and in order to be fair with the allocation of camping spots, there will be no admission to the festival site until 8.30 am on Thursday 28 February 2018, except for registered volunteers working on pre-festival set-up teams and performers.
Powered sites

Following a lot of feedback from those of you who use powered sites, we have introduced new procedures to enable people to pre-purchase a powered site. Full details and a map can be found under Ticket Terms and Conditions HERE

  • People may reserve a powered site by pre-purchasing at an extra charge of $45. Those who wish to pre-purchase a powered site should first buy a weekend ticket with camping then contact the festival organisers by sending an email to tickets@cobargofolkfestival.com to request a powered site and providing evidence of your weekend ticket purchase. In order to ensure an accurate record,  REQUESTS FOR POWERED SITES WILL NOT BE TAKEN BY PHONE.  Once your email has been received, there will be a return email from a Festival organiser, confirming your powered site.  If the site you requested has already been purchased, we will allocate the closest site to it.  A site map is available here with a grid showing where the powered sites are located. (Click the image to download the higher resolution pdf). People who have pre-purchased powered sites should bring the confirmation email to the Ticket Office when you collect your wristband. You will be issued with a Powered Site Pre-purchase sticker, which must be displayed prominently on your tent, camper, caravan or or vehicle.
A TOTAL FIRE BAN IS IN PLACE IN COBARGO FOR MARCH 2018. Please help us do the right thing by not lighting fires, including wood burning BBQ/cooking stoves.
