WE WANT EVERYONE TO HAVE A HEALTHY TIME. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE COBARGO FOLK FESTIVAL IF:
You are unwell or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or any other infectious illness like the flu
The key to keeping Covid-safe at our event is to exercise a high degree of personal responsibility, take good care of yourself and be considerate of everyone else who is attending this festival.
Each of us will have a different approach to Covid, some may be more or less risk-averse, so please be understanding and respectful.
Given the extent of Covid now in the community, some people will choose to wear a mask and
the festival supports their decision.
AN OUTDOOR FESTIVAL: The 2023 Cobargo Folk Festival will be held in open-sided marquees. If the weather is bad the sides may be brought down.
The Bar area is an open area that has been expanded for 2022 to reduce over-crowding. All volunteers will be made aware of COVID safety requirements.
VENUE AND FACILITIES: In the venues, please be considerate of your neighbours and respectful of their needs
HYGIENE AND CLEANING: We’d really appreciate it if all participants, especially campers, would help the clean team to keep the facilities nice throughout the weekend. Soap and paper hand towels will be available in the toilet facilities.
Hand sanitizer will be available in the toilet and shower facilities, the Bar and venues and at the Festival Office
A professional cleaning service has been engaged for regular cleaning of the toilet and shower facilities throughout the running of the festival. They will also perform periodic cleaning of the Bar area. A cleaning Log will be maintained throughout the festival.
STALLHOLDERS: All vendors at the festival will be responsible for their own COVD safe practices – please respect their practices.
