Fri 3 March - Sun 5 March 2023

You are unwell or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19;
You are waiting for the result of a PCR test;
You are required to quarantine or isolate.

The key to keeping Covid-safe at our event is to exercise a high degree of personal responsibility, take good care of yourself and be considerate of everyone else who is attending this festival.

Each of us will have a different approach to Covid, some may be more or less risk-averse, so please be understanding and respectful.

Given the extent of Covid now in the community, some people will choose to wear a mask and
the festival supports their decision.

Current NSW Government Covid-safe guidelines do not require people attending outdoor music festivals to be vaccinated.

If you have access to RATs, it would be greatly appreciated if you would take a test to make sure you are free of Covid before arriving at the site.

Please note the closest PCR testing site is 30 minutes away in Bega.

Any person who becomes Covid-symptomatic at the festival (no matter how mild) should leave the festival immediately.

Any campers who become symptomatic (no matter how mild) should leave the event immediately, together with any other guests they have travelled with.

Individuals may phone the Festival Office on 6493 6666 advising the event organisers that they are symptomatic and are leaving the event. This will enable us to take appropriate actions in accordance with the event’s COVID Safety Plan.

We do not have resources to care for unwell people: if you are sick you will not be able to remain on site and you must make your own arrangements to leave the site.

Current NSW Government Covid-safe regulations require attendees at all events with over 1000 participants to use the Service NSW QR code.

The 2022 Cobargo Folk Festival will be held in open-sided marquees. If the weather is bad the sides may be brought down.

The Bar area is an open area that has been expanded for 2022 to reduce over-crowding. All volunteers will be made aware of COVID safety requirements.

Please help us avoid congestion by observing social distancing in the venues, amenities, Festival Shop, food area and in the camping area

In the bar, please get your drinks and move out of the bar serving area as quickly as possible. There will be some seating in the bar, away from the serving area but do try and maintain appropriate distancing and/or move to the venues or other seating areas.

In the venues, please be considerate of your neighbours and respectful of their needs
Front of stage – please be considerate of the performers onstage and please do not crowd the front of stage.
It would be great if dancers could dance in the “flying wedges” at the sides of the venue, not directly in front of stage. We may move the front seats out of some concerts if a lot of people want to dance.

We’d really appreciate it if all participants, especially campers, would help the clean team to keep the facilities nice throughout the weekend. Soap and paper hand towels will be available in the toilet facilities.
Hand sanitizer will be available in the toilet and shower facilities, the Bar and venues and at the Festival Office
A professional cleaning service has been engaged for regular cleaning of the toilet and shower facilities throughout the running of the festival. They will also perform periodic cleaning of the Bar area. A cleaning Log will be maintained throughout the festival.

All vendors at the festival will be responsible for their own COVD safe practices – please respect their practices.
