The Thieving Magpies roam the musical world picking up songs and tunes wherever they find them – the Celtic lands, Scandinavia, the Balkans, the Middle East, England, and a smattering of originals inspired by this musical smorgasbord. With musical backgrounds ranging across classical and Klezmer, soul and blues, Celtic trad, and Americana the Magpies are an eclectic crew who have flocked together to have fun with the music they love.

The Yuin Folk Club acknowledges the Djiringanj people of the Yuin Nation who are the traditional custodians of the land on which the festival is held. We acknowledge the living culture of the Yuin people and their unique role in the life of the region.
Permission to use the name “Yuin” for our club was received through the support of Yuin Elder, Aunty Eileen Morgan (dec), when the Club was established.
