How do I get to Cobargo Folk Festival?
Getting to the Cobargo Folk Festival is straightforward, with the festival grounds located at the Cobargo Showground, just a ten minute walk from Cobargo Village in the Sapphire Coast hinterland of New South Wales.
By Road
Cobargo is located on the Princes Highway in the hinterland of the Sapphire Coast of New South Wales:
- 5 hours drive from Sydney
- 3 hours from Canberra
- 8 hours from Melbourne
- 1 hour 20 minutes from Batemans Bay
The beautiful Cobargo Showground is 1km from Cobargo Village on the Cobargo Bermagui Road. Day parking is available just outside the Showground, with a shuttle service available for those who prefer not to walk from the car park.

Festival-goers can now take advantage of two regular shuttle bus routes running throughout the festival weekend – making it easy to stay in nearby coastal towns and commute to the festival for a day or the whole weekend.
