Winners of the Gill Rees Memorial Award at the 2024 National Folk Festival and the Robinson Emerging Artist Award at Goderich Celtic Roots Festival, Apolline is a lively group of young folkies, equipped with alluring voices, innumerable instruments and an extensive collection of colourful socks. The group views folk music through fresh eyes with foot-stomping sets, original songs and a dash of sisterly bickering in order to bring a unique experience of genre-bending folk.
We promise to keep communications minimal and meaningful as we build our festival family.
The Yuin Folk Club acknowledges the Djiringanj people of the Yuin Nation who are the traditional custodians of the land on which the festival is held. We acknowledge the living culture of the Yuin people and their unique role in the life of the region.
Permission to use the name “Yuin” for our club was received through the support of Yuin Elder, Aunty Eileen Morgan (dec), when the Club was established.
