Balkan Boogie is a celebrated Balkan dance and concert band led by dance master Yorgo Kaporis and musician Andy Busuttil. The music and dances are sourced from Macedonia, Turkey and Greece and generate enormous enthusiasm from festival goers of all backgrounds and musical interests. This is a full-on participative band and gathers festival goers together in the true festival spirit. During the dances and concerts, excited and enthusiastic dancers, both experienced and beginner, turn up to celebrate their skills and the joy of discovering and re-discovering the true sense of community in dance and music.
