With a passion for traditional dance from all parts of the world, Fran Robertson has experienced dance as an international language that can transcend borders and bias. Musicians Phil Horneman and Leslie Spencer provide a mellow yet moving accompaniment on cello and classical guitar. Fran’s previous workshops at Cobargo have been upbeat and lively; in contrast, Peace Movement explores dance as a contemplation. People with mobility challenges are very welcome to join this workshop.
We promise to keep communications minimal and meaningful as we build our festival family.
The Yuin Folk Club acknowledges the Djiringanj people of the Yuin Nation who are the traditional custodians of the land on which the festival is held. We acknowledge the living culture of the Yuin people and their unique role in the life of the region.
Permission to use the name “Yuin” for our club was received through the support of Yuin Elder, Aunty Eileen Morgan (dec), when the Club was established.
