A 20 minute reading and a 2 hour workshop. I’m known as a narrative poet. In 2010 I won the Judith Wright Poetry Prize. Since then I have written two collections of poetry, one focus of which is the intercultural field, that complex borderland between non Indigenous and Indigenous Australians. Some of my poems critique governments; some of them explore white supremacy and women’s issues. Some are humorous. I read well and run a good poetry workshop (based on participant feedback).
