Drawing from their diverse roots across Chile, Colombia, and Australia, the band takes a fresh, multicultural approach to mariachi. With a mission to empower women in music, Queen of Hearts is making waves across Australia. Featuring a cross-cultural all-female line-up, they’re pioneering the fusion of the Mexican mariachi tradition with a unique contemporary twist of folk, blues, pop, and Latin styles – performing both original music and traditional classics in Spanish and English.
We promise to keep communications minimal and meaningful as we build our festival family.
The Yuin Folk Club acknowledges the Djiringanj people of the Yuin Nation who are the traditional custodians of the land on which the festival is held. We acknowledge the living culture of the Yuin people and their unique role in the life of the region.
Permission to use the name “Yuin” for our club was received through the support of Yuin Elder, Aunty Eileen Morgan (dec), when the Club was established.
