Robyn Sykes is a multi-awarded spoken word artist whose poems appear in journals and anthologies in Australia and internationally, and online. In 2023, this dynamic performer was inducted into the Australian Poetry Hall of Fame at Guyra as a Living Legend of Australian Poetry for Services to Bush Poetry. Robyn presents her work at festivals, concerts and events around Australia. She lives on Ngunnawal/Wiradjuri country near Canberra.

The Yuin Folk Club acknowledges the Djiringanj people of the Yuin Nation who are the traditional custodians of the land on which the festival is held. We acknowledge the living culture of the Yuin people and their unique role in the life of the region.
Permission to use the name “Yuin” for our club was received through the support of Yuin Elder, Aunty Eileen Morgan (dec), when the Club was established.
