2024 NSW Folk Federation Young Folk Artist of the Year, Sam Fletcher is a musical story teller, weaving timeless melodies of folk and country. Through skilful acoustic guitar, banjo and smooth vocals, Sam’s performance creates a rich tapestry of storytelling and emotion. Performing as a trio with Ashley Welsh-Jones on drums and Russell Fletcher on bass guitar there is an old soul feeling to the Sam Fletcher Trio’s performance style, yet youthful optimism shines through.
We promise to keep communications minimal and meaningful as we build our festival family.
The Yuin Folk Club acknowledges the Djiringanj people of the Yuin Nation who are the traditional custodians of the land on which the festival is held. We acknowledge the living culture of the Yuin people and their unique role in the life of the region.
Permission to use the name “Yuin” for our club was received through the support of Yuin Elder, Aunty Eileen Morgan (dec), when the Club was established.
