The style has its foundations in Middle-Eastern dance traditions but is strongly influenced by the beautiful folk dances of India, Africa and Spain. Colourful and elaborate costuming mixes authentic tribal textiles, floral headpieces and ethnic jewellery to create a spectacular display of flying skirts and twirling tassel belts.
