A lively and passionate group of Irish Set dancers based in Canberra, we love to share our passion through dance displays and participatory workshops so everyone can experience the unbridled joy of dancing to the wonderfully infectious and uplifting rhythms of Irish music. Expect wonderful Reels, Jigs, Hornpipes, Polkas and Slides. The music will be provided by Ian Hayden and friends, some of the finest exponents of Irish dance music currently playing in Australia.
We promise to keep communications minimal and meaningful as we build our festival family.
The Yuin Folk Club acknowledges the Djiringanj people of the Yuin Nation who are the traditional custodians of the land on which the festival is held. We acknowledge the living culture of the Yuin people and their unique role in the life of the region.
Permission to use the name “Yuin” for our club was received through the support of Yuin Elder, Aunty Eileen Morgan (dec), when the Club was established.
