Making a welcome return, it’s time to break out the dancing shoes. Melbourne’s enchanting contemporary world music band, The Royal High Jinx, brings originality, virtuosity, and theatrical flair. Their music draws from European traditions, adorned with Gypsy Jazz, Latin, Balkan and Swing rhythms, with a touch of Folk Cabaret. With three dynamic albums under their belt, they’ve been described as the ‘Balkan Abba’ for their catchy songs, infectious tunes and glamourous show.
We promise to keep communications minimal and meaningful as we build our festival family.
The Yuin Folk Club acknowledges the Djiringanj people of the Yuin Nation who are the traditional custodians of the land on which the festival is held. We acknowledge the living culture of the Yuin people and their unique role in the life of the region.
Permission to use the name “Yuin” for our club was received through the support of Yuin Elder, Aunty Eileen Morgan (dec), when the Club was established.
