Gabrielle Journey Jones is a poet and percussionist from Maori and African bloodlines living on Djiringanj Country, Bega Valley NSW. Gabrielle has shared her words and music at local, national and international events for over 30 years. Gabrielle will perform new and favourite original poetry from her books published by Ginninderra Press – Spoken Medicine (2017), Etymology of Courage (2021), The Purpose of Truth (2023), and Arrangements (2025). She will officially launch her ‘20 Years of Spoken Word Poetry – Audiobook Collection’ recorded at Dignams Creek under Gulaga Mountain.
