Howlin’ Mitch & the Habaneros is the Sapphire Coast’s premier rhythm & blues outfit. Formed in 2022, the band features blues veteran Howlin’ Mitch (guitar/vocals), Sats Kramer (bass), Ashley Welsh-Jones (drums), Jad Mitchell (guitar), and Drew Forbes (harmonica). With decades of collective experience, they blend raw energy with soulful musicianship, delivering both originals and blues classics. Howlin’ Mitch brings 25+ years of touring, a scorching guitar style, and a soulful voice.

The Yuin Folk Club acknowledges the Djiringanj people of the Yuin Nation who are the traditional custodians of the land on which the festival is held. We acknowledge the living culture of the Yuin people and their unique role in the life of the region.
Permission to use the name “Yuin” for our club was received through the support of Yuin Elder, Aunty Eileen Morgan (dec), when the Club was established.
