Hazara Sounds project presents leading Afghan Hazara musicians from Adelaide performing traditional songs of the Hazara community. Their unique music blends Central Asian rhythms with Persian, Pakistani and Indian influences. Captivating songs of homeland, nature and love are presented with dramatic rhythms on traditional 2-string tampura as well as harmonium and modern keyboards, together with santoor and guitar. Experience this beautiful and exciting traditional music by wonderful performers.

The Yuin Folk Club acknowledges the Djiringanj people of the Yuin Nation who are the traditional custodians of the land on which the festival is held. We acknowledge the living culture of the Yuin people and their unique role in the life of the region.
Permission to use the name “Yuin” for our club was received through the support of Yuin Elder, Aunty Eileen Morgan (dec), when the Club was established.
