Making a welcome return to our Festival, award winning singer songwriter Matt Preo is well known as a local performer and a frequent busker. He recently won the 2025 John P Toomey songwriting award in Narromine’s Dusty Boots Festival. A local legend, Matt has produced four albums of original material in his 38 year career.
We promise to keep communications minimal and meaningful as we build our festival family.
The Yuin Folk Club acknowledges the Djiringanj people of the Yuin Nation who are the traditional custodians of the land on which the festival is held. We acknowledge the living culture of the Yuin people and their unique role in the life of the region.
Permission to use the name “Yuin” for our club was received through the support of Yuin Elder, Aunty Eileen Morgan (dec), when the Club was established.
The Yuin Folk Club supports the Uluru Statement from the Heart.
