The Hootie Tooties are an exciting, emerging gypsy jazz and roots quartet from regional Victoria. Comprising four long-standing friends/solo artists, the group formed to experiment with harmonies and creative lyrics and launched in 2025 at Woodford Folk Festival. Drawing influences from artists such as Tom Waits, Dr Hook, The B-52s and The Ink Spots, The Hootie Tooties incorporate theatrics and comedy throughout their material to deliver a mixture of energetic and light-hearted songs accompanied by intricate instrumentals and overlapping four-part harmonies.
